Violet was supposed to be a first freshener this year, but ended up not taking. We had a few others bred to that particular buck that didn’t end up kidding, so I think it’s more on him than on her. Her dam was a beautiful doe, with a very productive udder (and a bad attitude about being milked due to trauma before I got her). She also had a fore udder attachment that was not extended onto the body as far as I would like to see, though she had a fabulous medial. I am hopeful that I Do made improvements in that fore udder, as he has for others. Violet was a bottle baby, and is friendly, but not pushy.
