I hadn’t planned to keep Kami, as I’m not a big fan of having a lot of gold does in my herd, but watching her in the pasture, I could see that she was going to grow into a really lovely doe. I’d say her first appraisal score tells me I’m right. I regret drying her up as soon as I did, but was overwhelmed with the number of goats we were milking, and she was one of the last to kid, so decided she would be one of the ones dropped. I hope to be able to do test again in the future, and prove what she can do.
