DOB:

I hadn’t been planning to add any more goats to the herd beyond retaining some, but the opportunity came up for Alex to get this one. She’s had some rough luck with her goats, so getting a doe that would be able to be bred this coming breeding season was a bonus. Her dam has lovely big teats, and I really like her sire, so am hopeful for how she will mature and develop. She arrived smaller than expected for her age, but has been growing well, and is looking much better now. She has a lovely wedge shape, but is not as long-bodied as I would like to see. I’m withholding judgement until she kids and we’ll see how she ends up turning out.
